Got the GoPro Hero HD to film our next adventure

Whenever we’re planning our adventures the first thing I think of is how I’m gonna capture it to share with you. After years of using a Kodak Zi8 I finally decided to upgrade to something waterproof with a wide angle lens – the most obvious choice was the GoPro HD Hero.

It’s got lots of great reviews on Amazon so it was a no brainer for me.

Quick Tip: If you’re planning on using your GoPro Hero for underwater shots you should by the dive housing for about $80

Reading the reviews I realized the GoPro Hero‘s case has a curved lens which distorts images underwater so I opted for the GoPro Hero 1 which saved me enough money to buy the dive case and still stay under $350 for everything.

The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is the sound – the recordings look great (you’ll see them in our next puerto rico adventure to La Concha and St Regis Bahai Beach Resort) – but there’s no sound. Oh well, fuss it’s good that I make music videos then, huh?

Yip, that’s the GoPro HD Hero strapped to my head.
